Burna Boy Reportedly Becomes First Nigerian Artiste to Hit 4 Billion YouTube Views
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy has reportedly reached another major milestone on YouTube, with his videos crossing the 4 billion views mark.
The achievement further highlights the global reach of the Grammy-winning singer, whose music has continued to attract audiences across Nigeria, Africa and beyond.
Burna Boy’s official YouTube channel has grown rapidly since it was launched in 2018. Independent tracking data currently puts the channel at around 4 billion total video views, with more than seven million subscribers.
Some of Burna Boy’s most-viewed videos include “On The Low,” “Last Last,” “Ye,” “For My Hand” featuring Ed Sheeran and “Gbona.” These videos have collectively contributed hundreds of millions of views to his overall YouTube total.
Burna Boy previously made history in September 2021 when he became the first Nigerian artiste to surpass one billion views on his YouTube channel. At the time, his channel had just crossed the landmark figure, ahead of fellow Nigerian stars Davido and Wizkid.
The latest milestone shows the continued growth of Burna Boy’s digital audience and comes during another successful period in his career.
The singer has also recorded major achievements on YouTube Music. In August 2026, he became the first African artiste to surpass 900 million in monthly YouTube Music audience, reaching 929 million, according to reports.
Burna Boy remains one of Nigeria’s most internationally recognised artistes, with his catalogue continuing to attract millions of listeners and viewers around the world.
The reported 4 billion-view milestone adds another achievement to the singer’s growing list of records and further cements his status as one of Africa’s biggest music exports.
